This is a pattern for a Roll Top Backpack, or a roll-top bag.
The PDF file has a link to a video tutorial, so you can see how to get setup and how I put it together.
(just in case the link in the PDF doesn't work: https://youtu.be/HyErFpU6Fuo )

Roll-Top bags are great when you need a little extra room or if you need to make your backpack a bit smaller. In the video I'll show you how I made it and mention various ways to customize it to fit your needs.
I've been using it for a while now, and it's a great, sturdy bag that can take a beating.

Sizes: bag is about 9 inches wide at the base and 12 inches at the top opening. It's 16 inches tall, fully open, and about 6 inches deep.
The straps, buckles, and D rings are all 1 inch. The O ring I use is 1 3/4", but you could use anything from 1.5 up to 2 inch. Personally, I thought the 2 inch 0 ring looked too big.

My recommendation is to use a little thicker, stiffer temper leather for the bottom panel, and a little lighter, softer temper for the 2 upper panels.
I made a roll top with stiff temper upper and it didn't like to be rolled. And I never really used it.

Print pattern using the size selection of "Full Size" or at 100%.
There are measurement guides on the first page to make sure it was printed at the correct size.
